Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for anyone in the workplace who wishes to gain HSE recognition as an Appointed Person to assist or supplement the normal First Aider, who normally holds the 4DAY FAAW qualification.

Minimum Entry Requirements:
16+ years of age.

Certification:
Certificate of attendance. Issued by the Ambulance Service and valid for one year.

Duration:
One day.

Class Size:
Student / Instructor ratio of 12:1.

Who delivers it?
Commercial Ambulance Instructor.

Description:
Areas of the course include Basic Life Support, the function and structure of the respiratory system and the management of different wound types.
