Who is the course for?
Enables organisations to increase their first aid provision in the workplace whilst maximising productivity. An excellent introduction to First Aid.It does not focus on specific work related areas, but includes vital potentially life saving techniques such as Basic Life Support and looking at other vital areas such as the five different types of wounds.Many organisations arrange for this course to be adapted and delivered just to their organisation, amendments are often made such as incident reporting specific to their company.

16+ years old.
Certification:
Certificate of attendance. Issued by the Ambulance Service and valid for one year.
Duration:
Half Day.

Student / Instructor ratio of 12:1.

The course is designed to enable delegates to understand the principles and priorities of first aid and become proficient in some of the essential life saving skills. The course focuses on 2 distinctive areas, dealing with Airway, Breathing and Circulation and Dealing with LifeThreatening injuries and illnesses.
