Who is the course for?
Open to all who require or would like to gain full HSE accreditation as a First Aider in the work place.

Minimum Entry Requirements:
16+ years of age.

Certification:
Certificate of Competency. Issued by the Ambulance Service and valid for three years.

Duration: 
Three Days.

Class Size:
Student / Instructor ratio of 12:1.

Who delivers it?
Commercial Ambulance Instructor.

Description:
The aim of the course is to equip the candidate with the skills, knowledge and attitude to manage an emergency medical situation. It will ensure that the candidate can perform the basic life saving techniques required by the HSE and ensure that competence is achieved. Candidates will learn all the essentials of First aid in the workplace from managing an unconscious casualty to dealing with a fracture or sprain.
