Who is the course for?
If you routinely need to move objects within the workplace, ranging from seemingly simple items as photocopying paper, through to demanding roles such as parcel courier. The course will enable delegates to understand the principles and priorities when moving and handling loads.

Minimum Entry Requirements:
16+ years of age.

Certification:
Certificate of competence. Issued by the Ambulance Service and valid for one year.

Duration:
Half Day.

Class Size:
Student / Instructor ratio of 12:1.

Who delivers it?
Commercial Ambulance Instructor.

Description:
The course emphasises the need for personal safety and assessment of the load, task, environment and individual capacity. Delegates willalso realise the importance of reducing the risk of injury and be given practical advice and demonstration on how to effectively manage these situations within the workplace.
