Basic Food Hygiene Courses

We are pleased to announce that our next Basic Food Hygiene courses are taking place in Bootle and Preston on 17th January 2012.

Food Hygiene Regulations require all employers to ensure that staff who handle food have formal training in food hygiene. Our Basic Food Hygiene course will provide your employees with the food hygiene knowledge and skills they need to ensure that they are working in accordance with current law and accepted good practice. The course covers:

- Micro-organisms
- Food poisoning 
- Contamination and cross contamination
- Common food hazards
- Personal standards
- Storage & temperature control
- Premises design & construction
- Cleaning & disinfection
- Pest control
